In the picturesque area of the village of Cerkiewnik, a single-story family house was designed. By employing a simple structure with appropriate proportions and external cladding materials like wooden siding and dark gray shingles, the architect drew inspiration from the landscape of the Polish countryside. The designed large windows allow the surrounding greenery to permeate the interior of the building.
The house in Warmia is a single-story rectangular building with an area of 75m2. It comprises three bedrooms, a bathroom with a utility room, and a living space with a loft. The living room and kitchen are located in the central part of the building, while the bedrooms and bathroom are situated on the east and west sides of the structure. The living area opens up to the garden and connects to the external relaxation area, promoting spending as much time as possible outdoors.
An interesting design feature is the use of glazing in the central section of the building on both sides of the exterior walls. This approach lends a sense of lightness to the structure and, at first glance, provides an impression of being surrounded by greenery within the building.
The building was designed with a frame structure, taking into account ecological and energy-efficient solutions. The facades and ceiling insets were covered with boards in the natural color of larch wood.
