Interior of a recreational rental house – Kashubian atmosphere, nature, and coziness.
The interior design of this short-term rental house was created with the idea of offering guests a space that, from the very first moments, evokes a sense of calm, warmth, and closeness to nature. The inspiration came from the Kashubian landscape — forests, lakes, and natural materials — translated into the interior through wood with a pronounced texture, a subdued color palette, and soft, atmospheric lighting.
At the heart of the house is a cozy living area with a comfortable sofa and a fireplace, introducing an atmosphere of relaxation and encouraging shared moments. Wooden finishes and raw, natural textures are combined with modern furnishings, allowing the interior to balance a homely, welcoming feel with elegant simplicity.
The space was designed to be not only visually appealing but also highly functional and durable for commercial use. The kitchen and dining area continue the same mood — dark accents paired with wood and subtle lighting create an intimate, comfortable setting for shared meals. In the bathroom, natural motifs are complemented by calm geometry and delicate details, giving it a modern yet friendly character.
In the sleeping area, soft textiles, natural tones, and large glazing dominate, opening the interior to views of nature that change with the seasons. Intimate reading corners and relaxation zones enhance the sense of privacy and seclusion, allowing guests to truly slow down.
This interior was created so that guests can fully unwind, while the owner can be confident that the space performs well under intensive commercial use. Cozy, natural, and filled with the spirit of Kashubia — an ideal place for year-round relaxation.
