Recreational cottage complex project
Location: Nadole, Poland 2024
The project envisions the creation of an intimate complex of modern recreational cottages located in Nadole - in the vicinity of Lake Żarnowieckie and within a short distance of the Baltic Sea. The urban layout of the development forms a friendly, semi-private space that encourages relaxation, social interaction, and comfortable family living.
The building forms are inspired by the traditional barn, reinterpreted through a contemporary, simple, and elegant architectural language. Characteristic features include tall glazing that opens the interiors to the surrounding greenery and provides abundant natural light, as well as pronounced wooden accents that give the architecture a warm, natural expression. Light-colored façades combined with timber create a calm, harmonious aesthetic that blends seamlessly into the Kashubian landscape.
The site is designed as a car-free zone, enhancing both safety and user comfort. The composition of the development is complemented by carefully designed greenery and shared spaces, including recreational areas, leisure terraces, a playground, and a swimming pool. Together, these elements form a cohesive structure in which architecture, nature, and function complement one another.
The project combines modernity, functionality, and closeness to nature, offering a space for peaceful, high-quality leisure and the building of meaningful relationships.
